We'll also talk through scheduling, student flow, and anything else needed to keep picture day simple for your organization.

Families Register + Pay
Parents register and pay Field & Valley directly before picture day.
Only students with completed registration and payment will be photographed, so your organization does not need to collect or manage individual payments.

Picture Day + Gallery Delivery
We photograph each participating student, then deliver 3–5 professionally edited images through a private gallery sent directly to the parent or guardian, with optional professional prints available to order.

Since every group is different, portrait day pricing is customized based on the number of participating students, location, and setup requirements.

You provide the space, help us coordinate the date, and share the information we provide.

Many groups choose to host portraits twice a year — once in the fall and again in the spring — giving families the chance to see just how much their children have grown.

Portrait Day Questions & Answers
What group sizes do you work with?
Every group is a little different. We’ll work with you to create a portrait day that fits your community, whether you’re a homeschool co-op, microschool, church, private school, preschool program, enrichment group, or another learning organization. We’ll plan the experience around your group size, space, schedule, and setup needs.
How does payment work?
Parents register and pay Field & Valley directly before picture day. Registration and payment must be completed in advance for a student to be photographed. Your organization does not collect or process individual portrait payments.
Do you offer both indoor and outdoor portrait setups?
Yes. We can photograph students outdoors using your existing property or create an indoor portrait setup with professional lighting and a backdrop when needed. We’ll help determine the best option based on your space, group size, and the look you want for your portrait day.
What does our organization need to provide?
You provide the space, help coordinate the date, and share the information we provide with your families. We handle the portrait setup, photography, simple seating or posing pieces when needed, payment before portrait day, private galleries, digital delivery, and print ordering.
What is included for each student?
Each participating student receives 3–5 professionally edited images. All finished digital images are included in the portrait-day price and available for the parent or guardian to download from their private gallery.
Can parents order professional prints?
Yes. In addition to the included digital images, families can conveniently order professional-quality prints and portrait packages directly from their private online gallery. Print purchases are completely optional.
How are galleries delivered, and are they private?
Each family receives a private gallery link for their child’s portraits. Images are not placed in a public gallery or shared with other families. Parents can view, download, and order directly from their own gallery.
What if a parent does not want their child to participate?
Participation is optional. Families who do not want their child photographed can simply opt out.
Can student portraits be used in a yearbook or other school materials?
Yes. Parents receive the images directly through their private gallery. If a photo is needed for a yearbook or directory, the parent can download it and submit it to the group directly.
Field & Valley does not provide or use student images for yearbooks. Portraits are not used by Field & Valley for marketing, social media, or promotional purposes without separate parent or guardian permission.
Can we schedule portrait days more than once a year?
Yes. Many groups choose fall and spring portrait days, but we’re happy to return as often as your group would like — whether for seasonal portraits, special events, milestone celebrations, or other gatherings throughout the year. Once we’ve worked with your community, planning future pictures is even easier.
